School Vision

A New School Vision (From Newsletter 9: 29th May 2009)
We are currently in the process of developing a new vision for the future. A school vision briefly describes the desired features of a school. It influences the strategic direction and over time, changes the very ethos or atmosphere within the school. I believe that developing the vision is a vital step in the continued success of the school. The staff have begun some work in this area, and I would like to hear your input as well. At the staff meeting this week, the teachers brainstormed some of the important elements which they felt could be worth including in our vision statement. We have also drafted a picture that may help support our future vision (many thanks to Jade Stent). We have put this picture and some of the statements in the foyer and we would like it if you were able to add your thoughts to this display. Be sure to come in and check out the display, as well as filling in a post-it note or two.
