Fraser Competition winners!

Thank you to all those people who gave the competition a go and congratulations to the following winners  -
Callum T in the senior school.
To choose a single winner in the junior school was more difficult, and so Mrs Picard donated second and third prizes. Hannah B took first prize, Reuben M took second prize and Liam E. gained third prize.

I'm going to be talking Fraser. Fraser is a icon for Fraser Crescent School. What Fraser stands for is Future Focussed, Respectful, Active Adventurer, Striving for Success, Enthusiastic and Resourceful. This is what Fraser is to me.
FRASER is a person a girl or boy. FRASER is different to everybody. FRASER shows the expectations for all of us. FRASER is a great kind of person that is like a teacher. FRASER is respectful to others hoping they will be the same. FRASER is enthusiastic about everything he or she does. FRASER strives for success by trying his or her best. It's like that phrase it's not about being the best, it's about doing your best and FRASER shows exactly that.
FRASER is also the kind of person who when they make a mistake they don't care they just want to know when they've made a mistake so they can improve. FRASER is also an Active Adventurer. He likes going on long or short adventures. He or she is a Future Focussed kind of person because he or she is always ready for adventures and always focusses on the future.
FRASER is also resourceful because he can improvise easily and gather lots of information fast. FRASER is a good influence on everyone.

Fraser is a kid who is respectful and helpful and always does her best. Fraser likes learning and trying new things. Fraser is responsible and always tells the truth. Fraser is a friend to everybody.
To be Fraser means you should want to have all of the special Fraser qualities i have just written about. If you are like Fraser at school and at home every day will be a fun day with learning and adventure.
I could be like Fraser by treating the teachers and kids at school with respect. I can try new things at school like taiaha, unihoc, drama and singing. Doing new things with the whole school like climbing Cannons Point is cool too. I always want to try my best, and I love learning about new stuff in class, like volcanoes. I think I am a Fraser kid and I like it.

Fraser is a person who tries their best at all things. They help people with their learning. They look after people. They are kind and thoughtful. They work hard and try to get to level five every day. I can try my best and do what Fraser does.

Fraser is a kind kid. He likes to explore. He finds out new things in class, at the zoo and at the top of Cannon Point.
What does it mean to be Fraser?  Striving for success, Future Focus, Active Adventurers.
To be Fraser means staying on task, being an expedition guide by respecting others. How could I be Fraser? I could ask a lonely looking person if they wanted to play with me.
